We began with two aggressive salespeople, Dave Robert and Mike Shipp, and just a few lines. EMS has seen a number of changes though the years, including opening a stocking warehouse in the 1980s, closing it in the 1990s, and moving into our own 10,000 square foot facility in 2005. In 2008, we started Illumination Sales to give greater focus to the lighting market.  Kerry Ashby joined as a principal of this new organization and merged the lines he was representing to complete our lighting package.  We now have over 35 manufactures and a dedicated sales force to concentrate exclusively on lighting. In 2009, we started EMS Power Sales to give a greater focus on the power products that we represent. Mark Thomas joined our team as a principal in this new entity and focuses all of his time and efforts in this segment of the market.
